Lam joined CNBC Asia five years ago as manager of affiliate sales and rose to her most recent position of head of network distribution. She has expanded the network across Asia Pacific and will continue to oversee CNBC’s efforts to enhance distribution opportunities across all TV and digital platforms.

Brainch said that Lam "has been an integral part of the team for the past five years and brings a keen sense of the marketplace as well as a strong understanding of what the CNBC brand represents.”

Previously, Lam was with MediaCorp News, where she was the manager of regional distribution and marketing, responsible for identifying and strategising channel market entry in Asia.
