China Telecom pairs with Madhouse

SHANGHAI - China Telecom has enlisted Chinese mobile advertising network Madhouse as the advertising platform for its search services subsidiary, Best Tone Information Service.

Under the two-year deal, Madhouse will support Best Tone's mobile advertising business and promote its mobile and digital services through its Madserving system.

According to Madhouse, the agency will target audiences using geography-based information and assist in product planning and sales.

“We believe that Best Tone’s strong local information database, coupled with Madhouse’s strength in mobile advertising, will help develop mobile local search services in China. With the arrival of the 3G era, more applications and rich media ad formats will be available on mobile internet and users will have improved browsing experiences,” said Joshua Maa (pictured), CEO of Madhouse.
