SHANGHAI – China Southern Airlines (CSA) is believed to be on the lookout for a creative agency for the first time.

CSA’s brief includes creatively driven brand communication strategies, production and tying the airline's corporate image with its services. Duties will also include the development of print campaigns to position the airlines as credible and consumer centric.

The chosen agency's remit will span across both internal and external marketing and brand communication activities for the airline.

According to sources, the pitch is open to all agencies across the country. The airline is reportedly already in talks with 4A agencies to kick-start the pitch.

CSA is headquartered in Guangzhou and one of the top three carriers in China. The airline recorded amore than 80 fold increase in net profit during the first half of the year to RMB2.076 billion (US$306 million), according to the Wall Street Journal.
