The channel will now host a newly designed information bar to enable more information to be displayed during breaking news alerts and to preview upcoming programmes.
The channel refresh comes as part of the its continued drive to connect with Asian audiences. Donovan Castillo-Mohlman, VP of network programming and promotions, says the new look reflects "the dynamism, change and reality of Asia today."
He added, "We will continue to listen to our viewers and partners who have given us valuable feedback throughout the years, and refresh our programming when we need to."
A series of documentaries will also debut in July, while Prime Time News presenters Timothy Ouyang and Yvonne Yong will team up to anchor the channel's flagship local news programme, Singapore Tonight, which now boasts a fresh line-up of general and business news.
Established anchor, Suzanne Jung, returns to co-helm Primetime Morning with Steven Chia.
