Carter Chow tipped to replace Henry Chan as Y&R Shanghai MD

SHANGHAI - Henry Chan (pictured), managing director of Y&R Shanghai, resigned from the agency on Friday with Carter Chow, formerly in charge of the Colgate account, stepping up to take over.

The agency confirmed that Chan resigned for personal reasons. 

Chan (pictured) joined the agency from Ogilvy Action in July 2008. Prior to that he was MD of Marie France Bodyline China and Bates 141 for Southern China and Hong Kong.

In March, Tom Kao, Y&R Greater China, left the agency after two years to return to Hong Kong, also citing personal reasons for his departure.

In June, Campaign reported that Jaime Prieto, CEO of Y&R Hong Kong, added an extension to his role as the international MD for the Colgate-Palmolive account overseeing Asia, India, Eurasia, Afirca/ Middle East and Australia.
