Based in Singapore, Siytangco has 15 years of experience in digital marketing, online media and internet start-ups. In the newly created role, she will lead Bite Singapore and Bite Australia to build their digital capabilities while providing strategic client counsel.

Reporting to Roger Marshall, Bite's managing director, Asia-South, she will be working with key clients including Adobe on the APAC level, HTC in Australia and Parallels in Singapore.

“Bite Communications has a strong point of view in content, which is becoming a central driver for companies to better engage with consumers and clients,” Siytangco told Campaign Asia-Pacific. “Also, we see social business is taking social media to the next level. As a platform, social media is no longer for communication only, but also can be used for other sectors, such as recruitment, customer service and product development. Social engagement becomes more linked to corporations’ business goals.”

Siytangco has delivered regional digital programmes for global brands in business technology, including Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle. Prior to joining Bite, she served as head of practice, digital strategy at Possible Worldwide, where she was responsible for managing strategy, customer acquisition campaigns, and integrated marketing programmes for clients including Dow Corning and Starwood Hotels Asia-Pacific. Previously, she led the development and delivery of interactive marketing solutions in Asia-Pacific and Europe at CNET Networks (now CBS Interactive).

Bite Communications recently acquired the Hong Kong-based Asia operations of Red Bricks Media, a US-based digital marketing agency, supplementing similar acquisitions in the last two years of digital marketing agency, OneXeno and web and app build firm, Interlink Systems. The new search capabilities add to the content, social media and web development strengths that are the anchors of Bite’s integrated digital service offering.
