Being Worldwide wins remit for two Mondelez biscuit brands

SINGAPORE - Mondelez International has selected Singapore-based Being Worldwide, a TBWA Group agency, to handle the strategy and creative development for two biscuit brands in Southeast Asia.

Being Worldwide wins remit for two Mondelez biscuit brands

The open-ended contract covers Tiger Biskuat and Jacob’s biscuits in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.

The appointment comes after a six-week pitch process, first called in August. Saatchi & Saatchi is the incumbent for both brands. Other participants in the pitch have not been identified.

Narayan Sundararaman, biscuits category director for Southeast Asia at Mondelez, expressed confidence that Being Worldwide will move these brands forward in the dynamic Southeast Asia market.

Launched more than 15 years ago, Tiger Biskuat is a household name in Indonesia and Malaysia. Jacob’s, meanwhile, was one of the first British biscuit brands to become available in Malaysia.
