APAC Power List 2024: The power players shaping the region's brand landscape

Here is the definitive list of Asia-Pacific’s marketing elite, as chosen by the editorial team at Campaign Asia-Pacific.

APAC Power List 2024: The power players shaping the region's brand landscape

Campaign Asia-Pacific is proud to announce the 2024 Asia-Pacific Power List, our selection of the region's most influential and purposeful marketers, presented in partnership with DoubleVerify.

In times of unprecedented technological transformation across the marketing landscape, CMOs face a pivotal moment. The rise of AI, coupled with crippling marketing budgets, is both formidable as well as exciting. Formidable and daunting because no one can truly predict where we’re headed and what the marketing landscape will look like in the next few years. Exciting because it’s an incredible opportunity for CMOs to pivot, be agile and truly think outside the box to find the synergy between AI and human insight.

As the industry adapts to these new realities, CMOs today must navigate tech transformation while addressing broader issues such as climate change, DEI and an increased focus on sustainability.

The inspiring marketers on Campaign’s list demonstrate that resilience, empathy, and a clear sense of purpose are crucial for overcoming these challenges. We recognise those leading the way with these values.

The marketers featured represent brands with substantial advertising budgets or significant market share. However, they are more than brand caretakers. They strive to engage and inspire consumer communities with meaningful work and impactful actions. As senior leaders, APAC’s top CMOs are expected to be changemakers, fostering inclusive brand cultures that promote diversity and equality.

Half of this year’s list comprises returning members, who have demonstrated their strength in an economically challenging year. The other half, the new faces, highlight shifts in brand dynamics and the emergence of new leaders. The 25 women and 25 men on this list represent 15 markets across Asia-Pacific, including Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, India, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Malaysia.

After weeks of rigorous debate and discussion among Campaign's editors, we are confident this list represents the region’s finest marketers.

Congratulations to all members of the 2024 Asia-Pacific Power List: the region's most influential and purposeful marketers!
