You'll take a 'shining' to this spooky Ikea video

SINGAPORE - Ikea Singapore and BBH Asia Pacific get into the Halloween spirit, promoting the retailer's late-night hours while paying tribute to one of the all-time classics of horror.

Client: Ikea Singapore

Agency: BBH Asia Pacific

Market: Singapore

Campaign scope: Web film (above), plus a "social media video hunt" where consumers will be invited to spot and win products that appear in the film.

Press release quote: "The Halloween campaign was the perfect opportunity for Ikea to communicate its daily late night shopping offering of 11pm to its Singapore customers."

Comments: As film geeks, we note that the first 50 seconds is one continuous tracking shot. Perhaps Kubrick himself would have been impressed? Probably not, but it's still a nice homage.
