The agency has no plans to name a successor to Pacchini as regional president at this time. Instead, Singapore-based Jonathan Allard, regional chief financial officer, will be taking on additional operational duties in Asia-Pacific.

Draftfcb will also be relying on its local leadership, including Pully Chau in Greater China, Bryan Crawford in Australia and New Zealand, and and the management team of Draftfcb+Ulka in India.

Pacchini first joined FCB in 1980 and swiftly rose through the ranks until he was made co-president of FCB Chicago, a post he held when Draftfcb was formed in 2006. In 2010, Pacchini was named president of Asia-Pacific, taking the reigns from Anil Kapoor, who returned to India as chairman emeritus of Draftcb + Ulka.
