He started his career in communications planning back in Europe and has recently become engaged in digital marketing development within agencies and technology companies.

Jean Lin, CEO of Isobar Asia-Pacific said, "Clients are facing the increasing challenge of how to better blend the digital and offline world together. In this evolving convergent world there is a greater need for clients to work with an agency who will provide integrated digital solutions. As integrated business director, Smith fits the bill perfectly as someone who is savvy in branding and marketing and understands both digital and offline worlds.”

Smith noted that people's purchase behaviour has been transformed by technology and would be one of the key issues he would be tackling upon his arrival at Isobar.
