Up to now, Wunderman’s operations in Australia were under the remit of Young & Rubicam Brands Australia. The agency’s integration into its Asia-Pacific organisation is now completed.

The restructuring increases Faggianelli’s role in the region, expanding his portfolio to 27 offices in 13 countries.

Morel explains, “This move is motivated by our three major clients Nokia, Microsoft and Ford, who demand strict globally aligned strategies and represent the majority of our business in Australia.”

Faggianelli (pictured) will now work closely alongside Wunderman’s global practice leads, Kass Sells (for Microsoft), Christoph Stadeler (for Ford/ Jaguar Land Rover) and Martin Conneen (for Nokia), to begin ramping up the management structure based on client requirements.

Moreover, he will also work in collaboration with Russel Howcroft, Australia and New Zealand CEO at Y&R Brands, on growing local business.

“Our management group with Jo Lloyd and Chris Jeffares will play a critical role in leading Wunderman into the future, with the alignment delivering more investment, a renewed emphasis on acquisition opportunities and an even greater digital focus,” said Faggianelli.
