DraftFCB Hong Kong MD Simone Tam resigns

HONG KONG - Simone Tam (pictured), MD of DraftFCB Hong Kong, has quit the agency and will depart at the end of the month.

DraftFCB Hong Kong MD Simone Tam resigns
Iris Lo, DraftFCB Hong Kong's ECD, who joined the agency just two months ago, will take on the dual role of ECD and MD.

Tam has been with the DraftFCB network in Greater China and in the US for 17 years.

Gary Tse, CEO and chairman Greater China, DraftFCB said that Tam’s departure was a "happy” one, and stated that the team "had enjoyed working together for many years”.

“This new arrangement is not a temporary solution and is effective immediately. Having an ECD with a dual MD role is not an unusual situation, many other agencies have that already. Combining client business with creative leadership can provide more efficient results,” he added.

In the past Lo is has had held managing partner roles in other 4A agencies including Bates.
