Euro RSCG China parts ways with Johnnie Walker

SHANGHAI - Johnnie Walker has moved its marketing services account out of Euro RSCG after the creative agency won Chivas in the middle of last year.

Euro RSCG China parts ways with Johnnie Walker
Johnnie Walker has been a client of Euro RSCG’s FieldForce in China for two years, but the brand is in conflict with Euro RSCG’s Chivas client, for which it handles global through-the-line duties.

BBH is currently the agency for the above-the-line business, while OgilvyOne handles the digital aspects.

Brand director for Johnnie Walker Keen Yim has left Euro RSCG, but is unsure as to where he’ll be going next. “I’ve seen the brand increasingly becoming the choice of whisky drinkers in China,” said Yim, who added that he intended to continue his career in the advertising industry after moving on from Euro RSCG.
