The appointment concludes a pitch process that began at the end of 2008 as part of an annual review. The Omnicom agency, which has held the account since mid-2006, will continue to provide integrated services in advertising, events and digital for the mall.

Chang Yeng Cheong, deputy general manager of VivoCity, said: “Tequila’s intimate understanding of our brand combined with its retail capabilities are particularly valuable for us in the changing marketing landscape.”

“We are delighted to bring our extensive retail experience into this partnership,” said Heath Jones, account director at Tequila Singapore. “VivoCity is a highly creative organisation which offers a great avenue for us to develop great work for them.”
