Warm humans with warm beverages: McCafé sticks with a winning recipe

The latest release in the brand's 'More warmth in conversations' series centres on a breakup.

McCafé Taiwan made a big impression with a coming out story and a love confession in 2016.

In the latest installment of the ongoing series, by Leo Burnett Taiwan (above), a warm gesture and some kind words written on a paper cup again make for a heartwarming moment. Ad Nut thinks the granny here is pretty wise too, with her suggestion that a new cup of coffee (and a new man) will be a step up.

Ad Nut is not sure whether this concept will work in other cultures, where people are less reserved in their speech, but the videos nail the cultural nuances and have tackled topics that resonate with young adults, based on other episodes from the series such as 'Wishes' and 'Waiting'.

Ad NutAd Nut is a surprisingly literate woodland creature that for unknown reasons has an unhealthy obsession with advertising. Ad Nut gathers ads from all over Asia and the world for your viewing pleasure, because Ad Nut loves you. Check out Ad Nut's Advertising Hall of Fame.
