Safeguard | Mano Po | Philippines

P&G's antibacterial soap brand Safeguard is reminding people to wash their hands frequently to prevent a rampage of germs and viruses in the Philippines.

The campaign is also credited to The Department of Health (DOH). Created by the CSR unit of Campaigns & Grey Philippines, the creative takes an indirect route to promoting Safeguard and DOH, without showing the product or logo within the ads.

The three commercials start off the same, but have different endings. They all begin with a boy going through his daily activities without paying much attention to the places he is touching. Like all Filipinos, he ends the day by visiting his grandparents and pays respect with the ‘mano po’ jesture.

The advertisements are initially being screened on television and will continue to run for an extended period online.
