The above ad, by AnalogFolk's Australia shop with production by The Sweet Shop, is titled 'Two barrels, one soul' and tells the story of Double Barrel, a wine from Pernod Ricard brand Jacob's Creek.
The film attempts to create something of a mythology for the wine, which is aged in traditional wine barrels but then transferred to former whisky (or "whiskey", if you prefer) barrels for "a richer, deeper, smoother" finish. The narration by Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the Marvel Avengers movies, adds a lot of gravitas.
In fact, Ad Nut finds the Double Barrel mythology far more convincing than that in Hemsworth's increasingly ridiculous films and may have to seek out a bottle of the wine. Double Barrel is available in 20 markets around the world, and Ad Nut has requested details about when and where the ad is slated to run.
