National Geographic Channel hosts Free Pet Shop

National Geographic Channel and five animal shelters presented the second edition of Singapore's largest dog adoption drive—The National Geographic Channel (NGC) Free Pet Shop—on 4 and 5 May. The event, which aims to advocate dog adoption, drew 6,000 people and 450 dogs to East Coast Park. Attending the event were 100 dogs up for adoption at the various shelters, and 270 human attendees pledged to provide bowls of food for the sheltered animals.
