Wwwins wins Timberland's digital in China

SHANGHAI - Timberland has reportedly appointed Wwwins Consulting as its digital agency in China following a multi-round pitch.

According to Daniel Tao, who oversees new business for Wwwins Shanghai, the agency is responsible for building Timberland’s brand site in the market and overseeing all other digital aspects of its branding.

He added that Wwwins was given the added responsibility of creating localised brand sites for other Asia-Pacific markets.

According to Timberland’s website, the company has one localised online domain in Japan.

Tao said the appointment came after a competitive, multi-round credentials pitch.

The Timberland Company is a US-based manufacturer and retailer of outdoor footwear and apparel. Its regional headquarters is located in Singapore.
