Relocating to Singapore from Seattle, Misner is set to take over from Melvin Yuan, who previously headed up the agency’s digital practice.

One of Studio D’s original founders, he spent the last four years establishing Waggener Edstrom’s digital presence in Europe and North America.

Misner has an extensive background in digital communications, emerging media and brand marketing, and has created and managed integrated media partnerships across online, print, mobile, event, television and radio platforms. In his current role, he continues to work in close partnership with Waggener Edstrom’s regional directors to implement digital strategies which are market and audience appropriate.

“Regionally, I will be building off of my experience in establishing the Studio D team in North America and the great work that Melvin has done over the two years,” he said.

“This will include blending traditional communications with 'go direct' and social media expertise, integrating creative content, dynamic design and a deep understanding of influence. I also intend to continue to evolve our insights and analytics capabilities here, piggybacking off of the innovative work the agency is doing at the global level, to ensure that all campaigns are accountable and show return on investment or return on engagement.”

Speaking of challenges, Misner said, “The biggest challenges are keeping up the pace, resourcing and scaling an always-growing team. Each market will grow at its own pace, and central to our growth strategy is how we react to the region.”
