Vinamilk retains OMD, boosts media spend

Vietnam's largest dairy company has retained OMD to manage media buying duties for three categories, following a media review of four agency offerings.

Vinamilk, which began its partnership with OMD in 2016, will also increase its media budget with OMD fivefold for 2019, the agency said in a release.

“Throughout the pitch process, OMD demonstrated an excellent understanding of our media buying requirements, presenting how they can maximise their buying capacities and cost efficiencies within Vietnam’s highly fragmented landscape," Vinamilk CMO Phan Minh Tiên, member of Campaign Asia-Pacific's Power List of top marketers, said in a release. "We are excited to continue working with the team on driving fresh growth through the smart and competitive opportunities offered by TV media.”
