Vic Sithasanan exits BBDO for FutureLab Asia

KUALA LUMPUR - Vic Sithasanan, formerly general manager of Proximity Singapore and regional business development director for BBDO Asia, joins FutureLab Asia as chief executive officer.

Vic brings with him a decade of digital experience and has taken both agencies he has led to being top agencies in Asia. We are confident he will be able to do the same for FutureLab”, comments Janet Teo, founder and managing director of FutureLab.

Sithasanan was part of the BBDO network for five years, leading Proximity Malaysia and then Proximity Singapore.

In 2008, The Won Report ranked Proximity Malaysia number one in Asia. In 2010, Campaign Asia-Pacific named Proximity Singapore runner-up SEA Digital Agency of the Year. Sithasanan also played a regional business development role helping BBDO Asia win accounts like Aviva General Insurance, DHL and AsiaRooms.com.

Sithasanan assumes his role in early January.
