UM Singapore appoints regional business director

SINGAPORE - UM Singapore has hired Vinitra Chaudhuri as regional business director, effective 12 March.

In addition to new business leads, Chaudhuri will assist on regional accounts such as Mastercard and Exxon Mobil.

With more than 12 years' experience in the communications industry, she has worked across a range of disciplines including account planning, research, media and integrated communication.

Chaudhuri said, “I am looking forward to working with the dynamic team at UM. With a focus on delivering innovative and effective solutions to clients - everyone is definitely going to see very exciting work come from here.”

She previously worked at Starcom Indonesia, where she handled key clients such as Mead Johnson, Samsung and UOB. Past roles also include a stint at Mindshare Indonesia on the Unilever portfolio.

Ray Pak, general manager at UM Singapore, said, “It’s a pleasure to have Vinitra join our team. She brings with her some incredible experience that will benefit both our internal team and clients. Vinitra will be on some of our biggest local accounts. I’m confident that she’ll serve our current roster well, while also providing great support for new business in the future.”
