Two agencies in the running for AXA Direct creative in Korea

SEOUL - AXA Direct has called a pitch for its creative account in Korea, believed to be worth around US$15 million.

Welcomm Publicis and Grape Communications are understood to be competing for the account, with incumbent TBWA having dropped out of the process.

AXA Direct offers online insurance to the consumer market at lower rates than via offline channels. It competes with the likes of Hyundai and Samsung in the competitive direct insurance sector.

AXA Direct is a subsidiary of Kyobo AXA.
