In his new role at TGE, Lim will oversee all programming activities, and specifically for the KIX and Thrill channels. He is also charged to develop original and co-produce motion pictures and TV properties.

Lim will report directly to William Pfieffer, CEO of TGE.

Lim was previously the head of content and production at Mark Burnett Productions Asia. He has developed a number of original concepts for the company as well as developing and executive producing adaptations of existing programmes like The Contender and The Apprentice for Asia.

“Lim’s background in program development and production as well as his experience in Asia makes him an ideal appointment and a key member of our team as we develop Tiger Gates businesses throughout Asia,” said Pfieffer.

Tiger Gate is a joint venture among Lionsgate, Saban Capital Group and Tiger Gate’s management. TGE is headquartered in Hong Kong, and have airing rights in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and India.
