JAKARTA - PT Sewu Segar Nusantara, the marketing and distribution company behind leading fresh fruit brand Sunpride, has appointed Advantage Advertising to its creative and media duties in Indonesia.

Sunpride appoints Advantage Advertising for creative and media in Indonesia
The account win follows a four-way pitch which included Y&R, Cabe Rawit and another local shop.

Advantage has been tasked to boost the Sunpride brand further as the dominant household name for fresh produce in Indonesia.

The brand is keen to market its flagship product, the Cavendish banana and plans to extend its range of products.

The company also aims to get consumers to switch to buying quality branded fruits at a premium price as opposed to widely available produce.

Advantage was appointed by the Sunpride team based on the agency’s “unconventional integrated communication concept, which addresses this issue”.

The campaign is expected to break in the latter half of 2010.
