Sohu and SK join forces for new channel

BEIJING - Chinese portal Sohu and Korean mobile operator SK Telecom have partnered to launch a Korean news and entertainment video channel on Sohu's Korean site.

According to reports, New Korean Online, which launched last week, will include music, cartoon and news material from Korean cable stations such as MBC, KBS and SBS.

SK Telecom subsidiary Beijing SidusHQ will operate the website and holds the exclusive broadcasting right for the online channel.
