Rockwell Automation appoints APC as AOR

SINGAPORE – US-based Rockwell Automation today appointed Asia-Pacific Connections as PR agency-of-record for 2013 for its publicity initiatives in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

The move is part of the Milwaukee-based company’s plans to expand market share and footprint in Singapore, its hub for Southeast Asia. As part of its plans for the company, APC said it will collaborate with Rockwell Automation to raise brand awareness among B2B organisations.

Additionally, APC will develop media relations across business and vertical trade publications including chemical, construction, energy, Government, marine, manufacturing industries.

One of the first initiatives APC is working on is Rockwell Automation’s investment in OSEA2012, the 19th international oil and gas industry exhibition and conference.

“We are confident that APC’s contacts and creative thinking will enable us to achieve our objectives as we seek to grow our share of voice with our target media,” said Annie Chng, Rockwell's marketing communications manager for Southeast Asia.
