SINGAPORE - PHD has confirmed that its managing director for Singapore, Pat Lim (pictured), will be leaving the media agency by the end of the year.

PHD Singapore managing director Pat Lim resigns
According to a statement from PHD, Lim is leaving to take some personal time off. A new Singapore lead will be announced shortly.

“It’s been a great four years for me and I’m proud of what we have achieved. PHD is now one of Singapore’s leading media agencies but it’s now time for me to make a lifestyle change and spend more quality time with my family”, said Lim.

“Pat has been a fantastic contributor to our Singapore operations and has left behind a strong foundation. We are sad to see her go. We understand that this business of ours can be all-consuming at times so we really appreciate her personal decision here.” said Cheuk Chiang, regional CEO for PHD Asia-Pacific.

Lim was previously general manager of MediaWise Singapore before it was replaced as PHD. She was promoted to her current role in January 2008.

With 20 years of experience in the local media industry, Lim is also chairperson of the Singapore Media Awards (SMA) 2009 and was awarded Media Person of the Year at the SMA in 2008.

She is also currently a member of the 4As’ media and research committee.

In November, Ray Pak, PHD Singapore’s regional account director, also left the agency.
