GLOBAL - Sanofi-Aventis has retained Publicis Groupe's Optimedia for its global media account following a review.

Pharma giant Sanofi-Aventis retains Optimedia for US$450m media

The worldwide worth of the French pharmaceutical giant’s media spend is put at US$450 million, based on Nielsen estimates.

A review was reportedly held at the company’s headquarters in Paris, other agencies involved were not disclosed.

Sanofi-Aventis brands include Plavix, Lantus, Maalox, Frontline and Heartgard.
