OMD makes key hires in Hong Kong

HONG KONG - OMD Hong Kong has appointed Dennis Ma as business director and Derek Yip as head of media buying.

Both join this month and will report to the agency's GM Roid Sin. 
 
Dennis Ma will lead business developments for HKJC, Carlsberg, and Levi’s. He has more than 10 years' creative agency experience and he was previously with McCann Worldgroup’s Cathay Pacific Central Team driving integrated communications globally and locally

Derek Yip has 20 years' media buying experience spanning multi-national agencies, including 10 years with UM as buying director and blue-chip clients like Cathay Pacific, Wellcome and Coca Cola. He replaces Feli Tam and will work on enhancing OMD Hong Kong’s buying capabilities and service offers.

Derek is a media buying veteran and his expertise and knowledge will sharpen our competitive edge and bring great results,” said Roid Sin, GM, OMD.

Earlier this month, Carat Hong Kong verteran Pauline Ng also joined OMD as senior planning manager.
