Ogilvy & Mather Taiwan scoops Uni-President bread and cake creative

O&M Taiwan will be tasked with the launch campaigns for the brand's bread and cake products, including two TVC campaigns for Uni-President's bagel products, which will air in October and December and aim to target office workers.

CharleneD Tu, account manager at O&M Taiwan, said: "The bagel products have been available on the shelves for a year, but they now have new packaging designed by Uni-President's Japan office. The TVC is the best way to boost brand awareness around the whole country."

“Although Uni-President products are seen as reliable brands and have high brand awareness among consumers in Taiwan, its brand image is getting old and needs a good dose of rejuvenation,” Tu added.

Tu suggested Uni-President may extend its cake and bread contract with O&M Taiwan if the result of the two TVC campaigns are successful.

Uni-President is the largest processed food producer in Taiwan.

O&M Taiwan recently sc scooped duties for the 2010 Taipei International Gardening and Horticulture Exposition and Ta Chong Bank. Its other F&B accounts include KFC, Schweppes and Taiwanese mineral water brand More Water.
