Rene de Paus, meanwhile, takes on the role of business and strategy director for The Brand Union. Made by David Mayo, president of Ogilvy & Mather ASEAN, this is the second senior appointments since the departure of Stephen Mangham in late 2011.
Mayo named Katryna Mojica as the head of Ogilvy Indonesia and Gustavo Asman as the creative lead last month.
“Our new Indonesia plan is gathering momentum. Katryna and Gustavo, our newly appointed country and creative leads, will be joined by Gordon, Florian and Rene, three professionals at the pinnacle of their game,” Mayo said.
“Focusing on creative work that works, they will drive Ogilvy forward on our new 5 Year Plan which includes development of our offices, our people, our product and of course our clients and their businesses.”
Most recently with Leo Burnett Indonesia, Ford has spent 17 years working across Asia, with experience in branding, retail and activation.

Austrian-born Jungbauer moves from Hong Kong, where he was managing director of a marketing specialist agency, with background in marketing, production and business development.
Meanwhile, with 14 years of experience in branding and marketing services, Indonesian-born de Paus has worked with international and local brands such as the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism, Total E&P, The Body Shop and Vespa.

The three appointments take effect this month, with Ford and Jungbauer to report to Mojica, while Paus reports to Hitchmough.
