Mediabrands appoints Dene Schonknecht as chief information officer for APAC

ASIA-PACIFIC - Based in Singapore, Dene Schonknecht’s primary responsibility will be to establish and maintain synergies between Mediabrands’ technology and business organisations.

Previously a global industry manager at Microsoft, Schonknecht has over ten years experience specialising in the communications sector.

Prior to this, he worked in the media and entertainment sector.  

“Dene joins our team with immense technology sector experience,” said Scott Beltran, global CIO Mediabrands.

“I am confident Dene will help us continue to develop creative solutions that address business problems for our clients in Asia-Pacific and globally.”

Commenting on his new role, Schonknecht said, “There is an ever-increasing need for organisations to align technology with business strategies, and I am excited by the opportunity to drive this improvement both for Mediabrands and our diverse set of clients in the region.”
