KUALA LUMPUR - Malaysia’s Media Prima and Indonesia’s Surya Citra Televisi (“SCTV”) has signed an agreement that will see the two media organisations forge closer ties.

Media Prima to collaborate with SCTV

Under the terms of the MoU, MPB and SCTV will exchange and cooperate in the joint production of content, as well as feature artists from both countries in their respective programmes and events.

The MoU also facilitates the exchange of news items plus knowledge sharing in relation to content production including staff exchanges and cooperation in new media initiatives.

Chairman of Media Prima, Datuk Johan Jaaffar, said that the MoU would foster better understanding of both media organisations and would improve bilateral ties between the two countries too.

Fofo Sariaatmadja, president director of SCTV, noted that there would be "synergy" between both leading media organisations and that viewers in both markets are set to benefit through better quality content and programming.
