MEC China wins Swiss watch brand Oris' media business

SHANGHAI - Swiss watch manufacturer Oris has appointed MEC China to handle its media business.

The 12-month contract, effective from January 2011, sees MEC take over all media planning and buying duties for the Oris brand in China.

Founded in 1904, Oris is a Swiss luxury watch brand well known for producing purely mechanical watches.

Michelle Ko, president of MEC China, said, "We are delighted to begin a new relationship with a great global brand and we are looking forward to bring to the market some of the innovative ideas we presented at the pitch."
