The set-up is unusual as most holding groups continue to keep traditional creative agencies and digital specialists separate. But according to Chris Mort (pictured right), chairman and CEO of parent group McCann WorldGroup Australia, digital planning is becoming increasingly important in winning new business new business across the board.
“With this traditional and digital partnership we had a choice to either bolt-on extra resources to each discipline, or create a seamless structure that allows us to concentrate and deliver fully on the business opportunities for clients. We have invested in the latter,” he said.
McCann Sydney’s clients include Microsoft, Intel and Unilever.
