Maxus Hong Kong wins Maxim’s mooncake account from Starcom

Caroline Chan, managing director of Maxus Hong Kong confirmed that Maxim’s Caterers has appointed the agency to run its media business for Maxim's Mooncakes and Arome Bakery, which Maxim's acquired in 2008.

Chan said that the client wanted to appoint a new media agency to inject excitement to the brand, just in time to prepare for this year's mid-autumn festival in August.

Maxus will initiate a fully integrated media approach with above-the-line, below-the-line, and interactive media support to maximise campaign impact and target audience involvement.

Maxim’s Mooncakes have been the best-selling mooncake brand in Hong Kong for 14 consecutive years, according to research firm, Nielsen Hong Kong.
