Among several other partnerships at different agencies, which include stints as senior creatives at The Glue Society, Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand and Droga 5 New York, Bowman and Burton started their career working together at Whybin TBWA and stayed there for six years.

The duo recently seperated when Bowman took a position as creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney, and Burton as creative director at Droga 5 Sydney.

In their new roles, they will work closely with creative director Russ Tucker of Tequila Digital. Clients under the agency include Visa, Fairfax, Nissan, GSK, Rabobank, Rheem and Pernod Ricard.

"I love what they’ve been doing and was keen to get them back together," said Scott Whybin, chairman of Whybin/TBWA in Australia. "They are old fashioned advertising people, even though they are only young with a great understanding of new channels and that’s a great combination."

Burton and Bowman jointly created many award winning campaigns and count two Titanium Lions and a Grand Prix at Cannes, a Black Pencil at D&AD, a Grand Clio and the Best of Show at the Yahoo! internet awards among their creative award haul.
