Joseph Tan, CEO of Lowe Indonesia, told Campaign Asia-Pacific that the account is for an integrated communications strategy for the skincare brand.

The appointment came after a final round of pitching with Ogilvy & Mather. The incumbent agency is Bates.

Lowe Indonesia also won the BTL account from telecommunications company Axis Telecom, after a pitch against Ogilvy & Mather.

Tan noted that this is the first time the telco company has appointed an agency for its BTL duties, as it was previously done in-house.

“We are elated to have these two prestigious brands in our roster and look forward to developing great work and to strengthen their equity in the marketplace,” he added.

Lowe Indonesia has won several accounts last year, including Pizza Hut and Indomilk's ready-to-drink liquid brands. It also clinched the country’s first gold at the One Show in New York City.
