Pizza Hut’s advertising business, previously estimated at US$7 million, is thought to be growing year on year.

The pitch followed a parting of ways between Pizza Hut and its agency of nine years McCann Worldgroup.

Stephen J. McCarthy, president director of Pizza Hut Indonesia, had previously confirmed that a three-agency pitch was underway for their restaurant business.

“After a long‐standing and fruitful relationship with McCann Worldgroup, Pizza Hut Indonesia is looking at a different strategy and is inviting three agencies to pitch for our restaurant business,” McCarthy said in a statement, adding that McCann Worldgroup will continue to be the brand agency for Pizza Hut Delivery Indonesia's business.

When contacted for comment, Pizza Hut Indonesia's PR company said that a new agency has not yet been appointed.
