Leong resurfaces at Lowe

SINGAPORE - Former Carat Singapore CEO and Aegis Media regional head of business development, Richard Leong (pictured), has resurfaced at Lowe Worldwide, joining the IPG network in a newly created role as regional director, communications strategy for Asia-Pacific.

Leong, who left Aegis Media in September, had said then that he was looking for a role where he could use his 20 years of planning experience to solve client problems. He was strategic marketing director of Ben-Q Siemens before joining Aegis.

Separately, Ashish Bhasin, chairman India and CEO South East Asia for Aegis Media, said that he was in the process of identifying a replacement for Leong and would be making an announcement in the weeks to come when he has confirmed the appointment.
