Leo Burnett Shanghai promotes Stefan Petzinger and Alvin Yim

SHANGHAI - Leo Burnett Shanghai has named Stefan Petzinger, former general manager in charge of multinational clients, as managing director.

Petzinger has been overseeing the agency’s roster of multinational clients, including McDonald's, Skoda, and Coca-Cola, for the past two years.

He joined the agency in July 2011 from DDB in Germany where he held a global role directing the Volkswagen account across more than 30 markets.

Since then he has built up new business for Leo Burnett with billings worth up to US$3 million (20 million yuan).

Meanwhile, Alvin Yim has moved up from operations director into Petzinger's old role as GM and is responsible for Pfizer, Siemens, Anta, and Skoda.

Yim, who has been with Leo Burnett since January 2005, will report to Petzinger.
