The agency secured the contract following a credentials review. It is the first kitchen and bathroom client for Leo Burnett Beijing. The new TV and print branding campaign is due for launch in Q1 of 2011.
"Jomoo's bathroom and kitchen fixtures are affordable, but the brand name is not recognised among mass consumers," said Jimmy Liang, deputy MD, Leo Burnett Beijing.
He added that in the past consumers in China were more concerned with the functional aspects of products, but have gradually become more brand conscious.
The Fujian-based Jomoo is one of the leading sanitary ware brands in China, along with American Standard, Kohler, Toto and Roca.
Reported last month, Leo Burnett Beijing also scooped the Yanjing Beer and Yutong Bus creative accounts.
