Leanne Cutts joins Kraft Foods as vice president of marketing

ASIA-PACIFIC - Kraft Foods has hired FMCG veteran Leanne Cutts as its new vice president of marketing for the Asia-Pacific region.

She will be based in Singapore, with her appointment taking immediate effect. '

Cutts brings more than 20 years' experience to the Kraft table, with a number of "deep" marketing, strategy and management roles on her CV. She began her career with Unilever in Australia, before moving to GlaxoSmithKline's over-the-counter and nutritional drinks categories. She also took on a UK-based strategic role with that company.

In 2003, she moved back to Asia, taking on a number of roles (both marketing and general management) for GSK in India and Hong Kong. Her most recent position saw her taking care of the North Asia region for its Asia-Pacific consumer healthcare division, covering Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Korea and Vietnam.

In her new role with Kraft, Cutts will be responsible for driving the growth of the gum, candy, and powdered beverages categories, as well as leading the consumer insights and analytics programmes, and driving marketing excellence in the region.
