Havas Media boosts management line-up in China

SHANGHAI - Thomas Wong (pictured), the recently appointed CEO of MPG China, has recruited three senior executives to his management team from his former company, Carat China.

In MPG's Shanghai office, Bob Du, has been appointed as national planning director. Du held a parallel role at Aegis China for nine years. Steve Chan, the former buying director at Carat Shanghai, has assumed the role of national negotiation and buying director.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Zhou, former GM at Vizeum China has joined MPG Beijing as its general manager.

“As I only joined the company three months ago, we are still restructing our human resource set-up. The new appointments are in line with the growth of the company and to cope with its new capabilities,’ said Wong.

MPG China’s new client accounts include Air France, Swarovski and Lacoste.
