Tweetbot for Mac released early
Tweetbot is one of the most popular third party Twitter clients for iOS, and its Mac version has been eagerly awaited. Well, you need wait no more: its makers have just made it available for download in an early alpha version. You can grab it now here (note that you need to be running Mac OS 10.7 or later) but the site cautions to expect “bugs, crashes and incomplete features”.

HTC to launch new tablet
HTC has revealed that a follow-up to its Flyer Android tablet is in the works. The manufacturer, which has generally focussed on phones over slates, told PC Advisor that a new tablet is in the works, but that it won’t be launched until it had a “unique selling point” to set it apart from rivals.
