Esquire China celebrates its 15th anniversary

BEIJING - Esquire China edition is splashing out to celebrate its 15th anniversary by issuing special editions with different covers in September, including a special 3-dimensional magazine cover by Mercedes-Benz, highlighting its Smart brand.

Esquire China is owned by the Trends Media Group. The 15 magazine covers for its 15th anniversary will be in tune with different facets of the modern man, highlighting everything from cars to wine to music and women.

The magazine is collaborating with various celebrites, brands, and artists to co-design these 15 covers. Among the line up are Chinese film celebrities Huang Xiao Ming and Fan Bing Bing, Chinese pianist star Li Yundi,  luxury brands include Gucci and Ermenegildo Zegna.
 

Trends says the Mercedes-Benz cover will use a special technology to produce a 3D magazine cover image.

Reported last September, Esquire China partnered with Audi to debut China's first-ever LED magazine cover for its October issue.

Esquire is a men's fashion and lifestyle magazine, first published in the US by the Hearst Corporation in 1932, it has international editions in the region including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and is expected to launch its Philippines edition this year.
