ESPN appoints EVP for programming and production

SINGAPORE - ESPN Star Sports (ESS) has appointed Fox Sport's director of content acquisitions, Craig Dobbs, to the newly created position of executive vice-president for programming and production.

Dobbs will oversee and spearhead all production and programming efforts across the broadcaster’s regional networks.

He has more than 26 years experience having worked across various functions in production, programming and content acquisition for Nine Network Australia and Ten Sports Australia.

At Fox Sports, he was also involved in expanding the business from one to seven channels and had extended its programming beyond sports to incorporate lifestyle, youth, action and other genres.
